  • Durability: Travertine rock is resilient and long-lasting, withstanding harsh weather conditions while maintaining its beauty and function throughout the seasons.

Benefits:

  • Natural Elegance: The blend of soft beige, creamy ivory whites, earthy browns, and subtle golden accents adds warmth and sophistication to any outdoor area, creating a timeless, serene atmosphere.
  • Functional Use: The natural porous surface of Travertine provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for xeriscaping, water features, and erosion control, while also helping to suppress weeds.

Ideal Use Applications:

  • Ground Cover: Use Travertine as a durable, decorative ground cover to improve visual appeal while supporting natural drainage.
  • Rock Mulch: Travertine’s crushed texture offers a polished look for garden beds, helping to retain moisture and reduce soil erosion.
  • Park Strips: Incorporating Travertine in park strips provides a clean, sophisticated appearance, harmonizing beautifully with surrounding elements.

Best Results: For best results and to reduce weed growth, install rock around 3" - 4" deep over top of quality commercial grade weed barrier.

Recommended Depth Rule: The rule of thumb with rock is to install a rock atleast twice the size of the rock not going any less than 2" deep when using small rocks. With a 1" - 2" rock, the minimum recommended depth would be 3 1/2" deep. Going less will likely show the bare ground beneath the rock. You are welcome to place rock deeper than the minimum recommended.

Notice: Rocks do not come clean. They may contain dust, small amounts of crushing fines, or some dirt stuck to the rocks. This is all due to the crushing or screening process. The images used are normally of the rocks after they have been cleaned off to showcase what the rocks will look like after rain, sprinklers, etc has cleaned them off. It is best to install rocks first, then rinse any dust or dirt off once installed.
