Southtown Cobble 1" - 2"
Transform Your Landscape with Southtown Cobble (1" - 2")
Southtown Cobble (1" - 2") is a versatile, naturally rounded stone that blends seamlessly into both modern and rustic landscapes. Whether you are enhancing a tranquil outdoor space or creating eye-catching focal points, Southtown Cobble brings visual depth and practical functionality to your landscape design.
Key Features:
- Size: Each cobble ranges between 1 to 2 inches, creating a balanced, uniform appearance while retaining a natural, organic shape.
- Color Palette: A beautiful blend of soft greys, beige, light browns, with hints of warm tan and subtle reddish undertones, adding rich earth tones to any project.
- Durability: Naturally resistant to weathering, these cobbles maintain their form and color over time, making them a long-lasting option for any outdoor setting.
Benefits:
- Aesthetic Appeal: The smooth, rounded texture and earthy color blend create a serene, natural look, ideal for xeriscaping, dry riverbeds, and water features.
- Versatile Use: Perfect for decorative park strips, edging landscape beds, and accentuating larger rocks. These cobbles are also great for erosion control in static landscape areas.
- Low Maintenance: Unlike organic ground covers, Southtown Cobble doesn’t decompose, requiring little upkeep while helping with weed suppression.
Ideal Use Applications:
- Dry Riverbeds: Replicate the look of natural water features with Southtown Cobble, adding a calming, authentic element to your landscape.
- Decorative Borders: Use these cobbles to outline garden beds or pathways, providing a soft, rounded contrast to more angular hardscape elements.
- Ground Cover: Substitute traditional mulches with these cobbles to reduce weed growth and provide long-term erosion control.

Best Results: For best results and to reduce weed growth, install rock around 3" - 4" deep over top of quality commercial grade weed barrier.
Recommended Depth Rule: The rule of thumb with rock is to install a rock atleast twice the size of the rock not going any less than 2" deep when using small rocks. With a rock that ranges in size from about 1" - 2", average the range at 1 1/2" and the minimum recommended depth would be 3" deep. Going less or basing your measurements on less depth will likely show the bare ground beneath the rock or running short. You are welcome to place rock deeper than the minimum recommended.

Notice: Rocks do not come clean. They may contain dust, small amounts of crushing fines, or some dirt stuck to the rocks. This is all due to the crushing or screening process. The images used are normally of the rocks after they have been cleaned off to showcase what the rocks will look like after rain, sprinklers, etc has cleaned them off. It is best to install rocks first, then rinse any dust or dirt off once installed.
